About Victory Baptist Church:
Victory Baptist Church is a small but mighty congregation made up of 30 devoted believers and two faithful deacons. We are a diverse group of followers ranging from young to old. Victory Baptist Church is located off of Hibbs Road in Newport, NC. Our church was established in 1979 with only five members, the church initially met in members’ homes before purchasing our current five-acre property.
Victory has something truly special within its walls. We want to stay true to God’s word in today’s modern and confused world. We believe the mission field is beyond our walls and in the community that surrounds us. Inside we hope to sharpen our believers in the truth and undergird them in their walks of faith, so they can better serve others in need and those who are lost.
Position
We are seeking a committed bi-vocational pastor to lead our congregation, preach and teach God’s Word, encourage spiritual growth, and help us reach more families in the surrounding community. We want a man who can not say NO to God and the direction he is leading him in his life and our church’s life! Although this position is initially bi-vocational, we are eager to grow and hope that the pastor may eventually transition into a full-time role.
Salary: $25,000 per year
