SPEAKERS

Pastor Mark Hunnicutt
Pastor Steve Hogg
Pastor Mark and his wife Cheryl have served together in ministry for decades, with Mark leading in a variety of pastoral roles-from Family Pastor to Lead Pastor-across five churches. He also spent well over a decade equipping future leaders as an instructor at Fruitland. Today, Mark serves as the Online Connections Pastor at Rock Bridge Community Church, a multisite, multi-language church with campuses across the Tennessee Valley and Northwest Georgia. Mark’s wife, Cheryl, has a deep passion for global missions, having served as Missions Director at New Pointe Community Church in Ohio. She now works with Compassion International, helping mobilize U.S. churches to engage in life-changing ministry around the world, releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name. Together, Mark and Cheryl love pastors and believe wholeheartedly that the local church is the hope of the world.
Pastor Steve and his wife Monieca are both Kentucky natives. They attended the same high school, and her family belonged to the small mountain church he began serving as Pastor during his Sophomore year at Cumberland College. They were married in 1982 while he was attending The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, where he earned his Master of Divinity. After graduating from seminary, they moved to Sumter, SC, where he served as Pastor of Bethel Baptist Church for nearly four years. Then in 1987, God led them to Rock Hill and First Baptist Church. It’s been an incredible journey, filled with surprises and great blessings. Steve’s journey with Jesus began during his sophomore year of high school. That is when he attended church for the first time, riding a church bus to a Monday night revival service. As the saying goes, “my life hasn’t been the same since.” He preached for the first time at a youth rally as a junior in high school and became a Pastor at 19. Forty-six years later, Steve is still a Pastor with a passion for preaching God’s word. Steve and Monieca have two children, both of whom are married. They also have seven grandchildren.
